Access Sundays
The Bata Shoe Museum is delighted to welcome KPMG as the official sponsor of ACCESS SUNDAYS – a program created to expand access to culture by removing financial barriers. Sharing a collection of nearly 15,000 artefacts with the community, ACCESS SUNDAYS offers everyone interested in visiting the Bata Shoe Museum the opportunity to learn about the fascinating history of footwear through four distinctive exhibitions, as well as participate in entertaining and educational in-person activities, all for free every Sunday.
Hands-on Collection
Who says you can’t touch at the Museum! Enhance your visit with multisensory and tactile experiences through our Hands-on collection. Visitors will get to examine objects up close while experienced guides explain the fascinating stories behind the shoes. Only on Saturdays from 11am to 3pm.
Community Tours
Community tours invite visitors in the community to navigate the museum together with our docent volunteers. Space is limited ~ first come, first serve. We encourage visitors to sign up upon arrival to the Museum at our admissions desk. Every Saturday starting at 12pm.
