Off-site Group Experiences
Offsite and Virtual Group Experiences
Bringing the world’s most impressive footwear collection directly to you.
The Bata Shoe Museum is stepping out of the box with a new series of offsite and virtual learning experiences – where we come to you. Discover the fascinating history of footwear through a program designed to engage and inspire your group.
1-hour / $350 / maximum 150 people
Participants will enjoy an engaging presentation featuring a slideshow of remarkable footwear from the Museum’s collection. The session highlights a diverse range of shoes from traditional footwear to innovative and iconic styles from across the decades.
30 minutes / $75 / maximum 40 participants
With a presentation, add a sensory experience to give participants the opportunity to see and handle footwear from around the world. Groups will examine and appreciate the intricate details, materials, and craftsmanship that shoe designers and makers have used throughout history, while expanding their knowledge through questions and discussion.
1-hour / $5 per person / maximum 40 participants
With a presentation, add an interactive workshop to either create a shoe-themed greeting card or make and decorate your own mini shoe ornament. Each workshop will include an additional short presentation about the history of the Museum and leave time for conversation and sharing.

Program Benefits
Explore how footwear reflects the culture, society, and economy of civilizations around the world — and discover the stories shoes can tell about the people who wore them.
Led by the Museum’s experienced Education Representatives, this program brings a curated look at our collection of over 15,000 artifacts directly to you — no museum visit required.
An optional hands-on activity or workshop lets participants engage directly with the material, building practical and artistic skills inspired by footwear traditions from around the world.
Programs are thoughtfully designed to engage audiences of all ages and backgrounds, offering a rich variety of content that makes each learning experience informative, interactive, and memorable. Customized presentations may also be arranged upon special request.
