A Conversation with Footwear Designer Benoît Méléard

We are so excited for our next Salon Series! This time, we’re inspired by our upcoming exhibition OBSESSED: How Shoes Became Objects of Desire. This exhibition features highly coveted shoes in our collection that represents how industrialization drove shoe consumption transforming footwear designers into celebrities and shoes into high value collectibles. Join us on October 19 at 7pm EST, as we invite innovative footwear designer Benoît Méléard for a virtual conversation with our Director & Senior Curator Elizabeth Semmelhack.
