Join us for our dive into the world of beads. Inspired by our newest exhibition, Beadazzled: The Art of Beaded Footwear around the World, drop in for hands-on activities, games, presentations, tours and prizes as you learn about the use of beads throughout history and around the world. Crafts and activities vary. Drop-in only, no registration required. Children must be accompanied by an adult (18+) and attended to at all times while at the museum.
SCHEDULE:
Self-Guided Crafts ~ Monday through Sunday
Beaded Shoelaces: customize your shoes with DIY beaded shoelaces.
Activity Book: continue the fun all day with a take-home activity book.
Guided Activities ~ Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays*
*Guided activities will be not be available on Wednesday, December 24.
11:00 am – Beading Demonstration
1:00 pm – Exhibition Tour
2:30 pm – Beading Demonstration
3:30 pm – Hands-on Presentation
Each scheduled program may run from 30 minutes to 1 hour. Activities are subject to change.
