Games

Pin the Shoe in the Shoebox
Put a twist on the traditional Pin the Tail on the Donkey with this shoe-themed party game. Draw a picture of a shoebox on a large piece of poster board (a simple rectangle will do) and hang it on the wall at eye-level. Have each player draw a shoe and attach a piece of tape. To play the game, blindfold the first player and hand them their shoe drawing. Standing 2-3m away from the poster board, spin them around a few times and point them towards the shoebox. Encourage them to walk forward and attach the shoe in the right spot. Repeat until all partygoers have had a turn. The person who gets their shoe in the box wins!

Sock Toss
Place three open shoeboxes on the floor and number them 1, 2, 3. Have participants line up 2-3m from the box (adjust the space according to age). Each player tries to throw the balled up socks into one of the shoeboxes, collecting points. Repeat until all family members have had at least three turns. The player with the most points wins!

Scavenger Hunt
Take your scavenger hunt to the next level by making it shoe-themed! Create a list of objects around your home that you want your family to find. To play the game, tell the partygoers which object they should search for. The first person to bring the object back gets a point, and the player with the most points wins! Make it social by playing the game virtually with other families (just make sure to coordinate your lists ahead of time!).
