Inspired by our current exhibit In Bloom: Flowers & Footwear\, Toronto Botanical Garden welcomes you to join this panel discussion on the cultural meaning and signification of the botanical choices we make in textile adornment\, garden design\, and shoemaking. Peruse the galleries while being serenaded by the sounds of some of Toronto’s best improvisers featuring Tegan Dietsch\, Lina Allemano\, Why Be Normal\, Tom Richards\, Annie Elgie \nCurated by Joe Strutt of the beloved series Track Could Bend\, eight artists will perform acoustic pieces sprinkled through the Bata Shoe Museum\, culminating in a concert at the end of the night. Expect shoe horns\, found percussion\, and (of course!) tap dancing. A playful celebration of curation\, thinking outside of the (shoe)box and of the incredible musicians that live in this city. \nACCESSIBILITY INFO \nThe Museum is wheelchair accessible.
